About TEDxBrownU
TEDxBrownU is a student-organized TEDx event at Brown University. We build a stage for ideas that shift perspectives and spark conversation. Each year, we curate a program that’s carefully crafted and meant to stick with you—well beyond the event.
What is TEDxBrownU?
TEDxBrownU is part of the TEDx program, a global network of independently organized events. Our event features short talks, with performances integrated throughout to shape the atmosphere and energy in the room. The goal is simple: create a shared experience that feels both rigorous and welcoming.
Our mission
We amplify ideas that feel urgent and human. Sometimes that’s a piece of research explained with clarity. Sometimes it’s a story that changes how you understand a familiar issue. We care about delivery, too—speakers are supported through coaching so their message lands with confidence.
